Here goes nothing!

Hi, I am Amanda Hudson and this is my first blog post!

I am officially at the stage of writing my book where things are getting REAL... so i thought I'd document my journey.

For me, this is the beginning. My book has survived three rounds of beta readers and is now in the capable (and much needed!) hands of my proof readers.

I have my eye on a few publishers and agents as ideally I'd love to traditionally publish my work. So once this is back, it's time to be really brave and send it off.

Surviving Stratis is the first book in a planned five-book series, and with my fingers twitching from the lack of writing, I've decided to move onto strengthening the plot of Book Two.

But writing a sequel means HUGELY upping the drama... so here goes nothing! Whilst I am trusting my baby to others, it’s back to the cork board for me to start plotting!

Over these blog posts, I will be keeping you updated on my dream-chasing journey and also going through some of my processes in actually finishing the book, so watch this space...
